YMCA Mendip and South Somerset are delighted to announce that a new project has been opened in Yeovil.
P2i+ at Hillside House is a new venture that provides a welcoming and homely accommodation for young people aged 16 to 18 with intensive support. The project offers a Psychologically Informed Environment with additional support for mental health including support from the P2i Psychologist. Support is offered by two staff at all times and there is a real emphasis on making sure young people are enabled to get themselves engaging with education, training or finding work.
Emma Good, Director of Housing and Support says “We are delighted to be able to offer this new service for young people in Yeovil. We are going to be enabling young people to access opportunities for their future as well as providing a supportive and homelike environment. We have managed to engage some amazing staff with a wealth of experience at Hillside House, who will work proactively with the young people to empower them to be able to live independently in the future.”
