Which class is for you?
Our classes are designed to be accessible to as many people as possible. However here is a general guide as to what we offer and what to expect from different classes. To keep it simple we have broken the classes into 3 categories:
Mind body
Cardio
Strength
However in reality there is a cross over between classes as for example a
Circuits class will also involve strength training!
Mind body
Power Yoga Flow
As the name suggests, this class is fairly fast moving – you will leave feeling like you have exercised as it is physically challenging. It incorporates a variety of yoga postures and combines in some fitness work too. This is a class that is designed to develop strength, flexibility and endurance. We move from posture to posture using the breath and ease of movement to flow and sequence together complimentary movements that may at times challenge but will always be fun.
This class is most suitable for people who have some previous fitness or yoga experience – but there will always be options to make the class work for you.
Yin
A yoga class where postures are held for a longer period of time (normally 3 – 5 minutes) to allow the body to settle into the pose with an emphasis on softening, patience and kindness to ourselves. A lovely simple form of yoga using props such as bolsters and blankets – to support and nurture us. It is slow, soft and relaxing, but at the same time can be challenging.
Yoga / Yoga flow
These classes incorporate Hatha yoga with flowing sequences designed to build strength, flexibility and endurance. You will learn many of the popular poses we see today and be shown techniques to start to develop your yoga practice. The classes will also normally include a relaxation period towards the end of the class to calm both the body and mind. Suitable for participants of all levels.
Yogatone
Embark on a transformative journey of mind, body, and soul with YogaTone, a dynamic fusion of yoga and strength training designed to sculpt your physique, calm your mind, and elevate your spirit. Restorative Yoga

Led by a nurturing instructor, each session unfolds like a gentle journey inward, guiding you to release tension, find inner peace, and restore balance to your being.
Sunrise Yoga
Wake up and greet the day with tranquillity and grace as you embark on a journey of self-discovery and renewal with Sunrise Yoga at The Dojo. Set against the backdrop of the early morning light, this invigorating class invites you to step onto your mat and welcome the rising sun with open arms. Led by a dedicated instructor, each session unfolds like a gentle awakening, guiding you to stretch, strengthen, and centre yourself in preparation for the day ahead.
Ashtanga Yoga
Step onto your mat and dive into the transformative practice of Ashtanga Yoga. Held in the serene ambiance of The Dojo, this dynamic class invites you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and inner strength as you explore the foundational poses of the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. Guided by a dedicated instructor, each session unfolds like a sacred ritual, empowering you to cultivate balance, flexibility, and mindfulness on and off the mat.
After Work Yoga
Unwind and recharge after a long day at the office with After Work Yoga. Tailored specifically for the needs of busy individuals, this calming class offers a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation, providing a blissful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Led by a compassionate instructor, each session is designed to melt away stress, soothe tired muscles, and restore balance to body and mind, leaving you feeling refreshed, revitalized, and ready to embrace the evening ahead.
Men’s Yoga
Step onto the mat and embark on a journey of strength, flexibility, and inner peace with Strength & Serenity: Men’s Yoga Empowerment. This empowering class is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs and challenges faced by men, offering a supportive environment where you can explore your body’s capabilities, cultivate mindfulness, and harness the transformative power of yoga. Led by a seasoned instructor, each session combines dynamic movement, strength-building poses, and breathwork to help you build physical resilience, mental focus, and emotional well-being, leaving you feeling invigorated, balanced, and empowered.
Cardio
Circuits
A class involving a series of exercises often performed in rotation using various equipment e.g. from kettlebells to skipping ropes. It aims to build muscular strength and endurance. These classes are friendly, welcoming and a lot of fun.
BoxFit
Boxing provides a great, well rounded full body workout. It is a great stress reliever and allows you to disconnect from the everyday stresses of life, let off some steam and increase confidence by learning a great new skill.
Studio Cycling
Get ready to ignite your passion for fitness with Studio Cycling: an electrifying group workout experience that will propel you towards your fitness goals! Led by a certified instructor, this adrenaline-pumping class unfolds in a vibrant studio setting pulsating with invigorating beats, where every pedal stroke syncs with the rhythm of the music, driving you to push beyond your limits and soar to new heights of cardiovascular endurance.
Body Conditioning
Join Bex for these energetic and invigorating classes. Combining cardio and conditioning for a total body workout to help you get stronger fitter and less injury prone.
Zumba
Prepare to unleash your inner dance diva and join the ultimate fitness party with Zumba! Led by a certified instructor, this electrifying class transports you to a pulsating dance floor where you’ll groove, shimmy, and shake your way to a fitter, happier you. Set to a contagious blend of international rhythms, Zumba transforms exercise into a joyous celebration of movement, rhythm, and fun!
Strength
Les Mills Body Pump
A barbell workout for anyone who enjoys working with weights in a motivating environment. The instructor will take you through a series of choreographed workouts using light to moderate weights and high repetition. The end result is to burn calories and give you a total body workout.
Kettlebells
A kettlebell is a round weight with a flat bottom and a thick handle on top and we use it for exercises and weight training. It tones and helps build definition and strength. A challenging but fun class with motivating instructors.
Core & Stretch
An intermediate class that focuses on just your core – so what does that mean? The core is generally referred to as the midsection / torso of the body and involves all your muscles in that area – and these all help stabilise your body. This class works your core – using multiple exercises to really get results.
Functional Circuits
This challenging class uses lots of different equipment and changes from week to week, keeping your body and mind guessing! Expect powerful movements such as lunges, squats, presses and dynamic lifts.
HIIT Circuit
HIIT Circuits, workouts that change every week, pairing strength training with cardio to target every major muscle group in the body. HIIT focuses on maximum effort during the work periods and rest time is typically shorter than other ways of training. Expect compound movements that engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously
Bootcamp
Early morning Bootcamp involves stations and drills utilising equipment such as : Kettlebells, boxing pads, battle ropes, the TRX, and bodyweight to improve your strength and cardiovascular fitness. There will be a few games and fun finishers thrown in to set you up for the day!
Pilates
Commence on a journey to sculpt a stronger, more resilient body and tap into your inner powerhouse with Power Pilates! Guided by an experienced instructor, this dynamic class blends the precision of Pilates with the intensity of strength training, creating a transformative workout experience that targets every muscle group, leaving you feeling toned, invigorated, and empowered.
Class etiquette
Classes can be busy and we ask all members / casual users to follow the following guidelines:
Arrive in plenty of time for the class – if you are late the instructor may not let you in
Wear appropriate clothing and clean training shoes
Bring a water bottle
Let the instructor know if there are any medical conditions or injuries etc that may impact your ability to take part in the class
Respect others in the class
Respect the equipment and please wipe down mats after use (sprays etc provided)
Studio hire / hen parties / children’s parties
We can hire our studio out for private functions and parties such as children’s dance parties and hen parties.
